Designed for strength and easy installation, each IR EarthScrew Kit includes 10 EarthScrews, enough to support 5 BallasRack frames, making it a practical choice for installers looking to reduce labor and avoid heavy equipment.

Built for performance in a wide range of jobsite conditions, this mounting kit offers easy system leveling, strong uplift resistance, and streamlined installation in nearly any terrain where soil is properly compacted. For best results, one EarthScrew must be tested on-site to confirm it can withstand a minimum of 1,000 lbs of uplift. Professional installation is also recommended to ensure proper performance and code compliance.

This kit is ideal for projects where speed and simplicity matter. In many cases, building permits may not be required under 2018/2024 International Building Code (IBC®) Chapter 1, Section [A] 105.2. A 1" conduit pipe / EMT is required to link the frames together and is not included. For especially dense soil, pre-drilled holes may be needed using an SDS hammer drill and a 30-inch SDS-Max Speed-X carbide rotary hammer bit. For even greater anchoring strength, concrete mix can be added to the drilled holes with water.
