About the Product

Every component of the battery bundle—the 11.4kW hybrid inverter, the 200A Automatic Transfer Switch, and the EI Battery—is engineered to operate as one coordinated Energy Intelligence (EI) ecosystem, simplifying installation, monitoring, and long-term support.

When the grid goes down, the 200A ATS automatically transfers supported home loads to battery power. No generator input is required. Also, because all components share the Tigo EI platform, you get intelligent energy modes, such as self-consumption, load shifting, and time-of-use (TOU) rate optimization. This setup actively reduces grid dependence every day, not just during outages.

The Tigo EI Battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry, rated for 6,000+ cycles with 9.9kWh total capacity and 9.0kWh usable per battery. You can start with one module and expand to four per inverter, reaching 39.6kWh of total solar battery storage without replacing any existing hardware.

The inverter supports up to 200% DC oversizing, up to four independent MPPTs, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Also, it has a built-in revenue-grade meter and features a NEMA 4X weatherproof enclosure—everything required for a clean, code-compliant residential installation.
